Ahead of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics that opens on February 9, the opening festival of Cultural Olympiad, “Day of Feast” was held at Gangneung-Wonju National University Stadium on February 3.
Beginning with the opening festival, a 44-day marathon of performances will continue to inspire and capture the hearts of onlookers. One of the most anticipated is K-POP World Festa, which will also be held at on Gangneung-Wonju National University Stadium on February 10. Already hot with bated breath, an array of stunning K-POP stars is in line to appear in the show.
To celebrate the 2018 PyeongChang Olympic Games, established stars such as Wheesung and Super Junior, as well as the up-and-coming streaming powerhouses iKON and JBJ will participate in the hand-printing event.
The star-studded line-up will perform three shows on Feb. 10, 17, and 24. The tickets are free and distributed exclusively through Ticketlink. The organizers will provide free handwarmers for the audience.
Also, the event “Let’s cover that dance and go to PyeongChang!” will invite K-POP fans from all over the world, especially those who apply with their K-POP cover dance videos. Four teams who are selected through screening and will be officially invited to K-POP World Festa to dance on the stage.
