CODE Dialogues at Emily Carr University
On the 6th of February, 2010, to coincide with the opening of CODE Live at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, the Cultural Olympiad 2010 and Emily Carr presented a one-day forum that brought together national and international artists, (many of which were exhibiting work within CODE) curators and thinkers for a series of dialogues on the relationships between digital technologies and creative practices today.
CODE Live Launch
Over the evenings of the 3rd and 4th Febuary, Culture @ the Olympics staff (Jennifer Jones, Kris Krug and Danielle Sipple) have been present at the pre-launch and launch of the Vancouver Cultural Olympiad events, CODE Live.
Art Exhibition
Just over a year after the Beijing Olympics, artist Tim Vyner’s latest exhibition entitled World of Games: An Exhibition of Paintings from Beijing 2008-London 2012 opened on Tuesday 25th of November, 2009 at the Bankside Gallery in London.

Olympic cultural programmes
We are particularly impressed with the cultural preparations. Since the first day we wandered around Athens, 4th of August, the final touches to an extensive
