Category: Themes

These are our priority topics / themes, including arts, ceremonies, politics, media etc

Culture is the angle to everything, so I do not highlight it as a ‘theme’ – instead, what we mean is stories that are about the arts or about arts festivals / the cultural olympiad

I may include the Cultural Olympiad as a theme / topic eventually, to differentiate from ceremonies, torch relay or other

Andy may want to add ‘athletes’ / technology / esports if this is something you will focus about

please keep in mind the overarching rationale to name themes
